App Terms of Service
Provider of GoalJo app and services is spread emotions GmbH („spread emotions“).
1. GoalJo
GoalJo is a service which helps to define an important personal goal for a certain period of time and then asks questions every day in the morning and evening that help you plan and reflect your days.
In addition, the app offers additional features such as reminders and highlighting favourites. The service can be used in form of a smartphone app. Use of the service is subject to a charge.
2. Scope and definition
These Terms of Use govern the use of the Service by the User (“Customer” or “User”). The term “journal” refers to a collection of daily entries. The term “device” refers to the device that is used to use the services and includes, for example, smartphones and tablets.
3. Changes of Terms of Use
Spread emotions is entitled to adjust these conditions of use, if a requirement by further development of the service or the app, legal changes or an adjustment of the product range and offers is given. The amended Terms of Use will be sent by e-mail at least one week before they take effect to users whose e-mail address has been disclosed to us. In addition users of the app will get informed by push notifications on the smartphone. The current terms of use can be found at goaljo.com and are linked in the app.
The new conditions of use can be contradicted within two weeks after taking effect.
4. Payment and Account
4.1 Payment for the Service is made through Apple Inc. (hereinafter referred to as Apple), the Apple App Store and the Apple ID used to complete the subscription. Access to the paid service through the app is therefore linked to the Apple ID used to make the payment.
4.2 You are responsible for keeping your payment details up-to-date in the Apple Account.
4.3 The subscription will renew automatically unless it is terminated at least 24 hours before the end of the paid period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the expiration of the period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions after purchase by accessing your App Store account settings. A link to this feature of the App Store can also be found in the settings of the app.
4.4 Your purchases may be transferred to other Apple mobile devices, that are using your Apple account, through the “Restore Purchases” feature in the app.

Usage
The user is allowed to use the app on all their own devices with their own Apple ID.
Only the user is responsible for content entered in the app.
The user is solely responsible for achieving his own goals.
Backups
We are not responsible for content residing in the mobile application. In no event shall we be held liable for any loss of any content. It is your sole responsibility to maintain appropriate backup of your content.
Subject matter and services
Without an active subscription, it is possible to view existing journals, but not to edit them or to create new journals.
By subscribing, you acquire the right for the paid period to create and edit journals and journal entries.
After your subscription is expired you can’t create new journals or edit old journals anymore, but you can still read all existing journal entries.
The exact scope of the offer is described in detail on the homepage. Spread emotions can expand or restrict the offer at any time. You have no claim that certain offers will be available in the same way in the future.
By ordering the paid subscription, a contract for the use of paid services takes effect after confirming the purchase via the overview displayed by Apple. The contract period depends on the ordered package and will be displayed in the order process.
If the contract doesn’t get canceled in time according to 4.2, it will automatically be renewed for the same duration.
Please note that spread emotions has no influence on Apple’s policies and they may change their policies at any time.
Severability clause
If individual regulations of these conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, all remaining provisions hereof will remain in full force and effect.
